Recovery is also what you eat
Most people in rehabilitation get a physiotherapist and, separately, someone who tells them what to eat — and the two never speak to each other. I hold an MSc in Nutrition alongside my physiotherapy practice, which means the exercise plan and the nutrition plan are built by the same person, for the same goal, at the same time.
This isn't a weight-loss programme. It's nutrition aimed squarely at recovery.
I work on nutrition as part of rehabilitation. I don't treat eating disorders, and I don't manage diabetes, kidney disease or other conditions where diet is the primary medical treatment — those need a doctor or a registered dietitian, and I'll tell you if that's what you need.
